This guy takes his work very seriously. He has been such a huge help to his dad!
On top of the white gravel will be grass, on top of the paved patio will be lounge chairs or a fire pit (with hopes of a spa someday - oh to dream:), under the trampoline will be a tortoise habitat (hopefully) and to the left of the trampoline will be a raised garden. OK, now squint really hard and imagine the swing set gone and all the dark gravel covered with pretty rock, bushes and ground cover. Do you see it? I do.
This is the 'temporary' rock yard where G has sorted the rocks for later use. Soon this will be the raised, fenced in garden.
it's not all work, sometimes you just need to make time for play :) Inside of each 1/2 round will be a palm bush - the exposed wall will have some sort of climbing bush on it and lots of pretty rock and ground cover to fill in the dirt spaces.

Between the TRI training, winter sports and guests... hubby is still making progress on the backyard. Pics of the brick patio and other goodies will be posted this weekend (I hope). The energy level of my husband blows my mind...I really don't know how he does it all.
