Beach Tramp

OK...so the title of this post was not intended to shock or catch your attention, it really is the name of this crazy contraption.

JJ and our friend Ray decided that they wanted to make a low cost solution that would help them cart all the "beach essentials" up and down a VERY steep path to and from the campsite/beach. Our camp site was located on a cliff several stories above the beach and lugging stuff back and forth could have potentially posed a problem.

So, they took a few trampoline parts (hence the BEACH TRAMP name), bicycle wheels, bolts, left over wood from a Murphy bed project, bathroom paint, car decals, leather and presto - the BEACH TRAMP was born. (Totally only $10 in materials) Below is the progression of the process. It worked like a dream and I was thankful that the kids and I didn't have to carry a thing - thank you guys - it made our vacation that much more pleasurable!

Genius! But how did you get it *to* the campsite? I assume someone must have had a nice big truck!
