Hatching Chick

This is very exciting. While I was in K's class today doing reading tests, one of the the three eggs in the incubator started to hatch. We watched it all unfold before our very eyes. K has been praying that the chicks survive this year and sure enough the first one is doing fine. Look a it, so cute! The kids were so amped up it was hard for them to even concentrate on reading. Sometimes it's the little things that make an ordinary day exiting :)

This week is also TEACHER APPRECIATION week, and boy... do we appreciate our teachers. These ladies work so hard every day. Their energy level and dedication to the kids is mind blowing! Thank you Mrs. D and Mrs. F for all of your hard work, we love you!
