Cookies with a spiritual meaning



Normally, we would decorate cookies with Aunt C... that is one of our traditions at Christmas. Because we can not be with her due to geographical obstacle, Mrs. J has stepped in as pseudo aunt and started an Easter tradition of inviting us over for cookie decorating. (all the while keeping Aunt C close to our hearts and thoughts:)
She added a few new shapes this year. Each one with a spiritual meaning. It's fun to see the kids retain the meanings and teach the younger ones along the way. Plus, the eating of the cookies is oh so sweet.

Ohhhhh... I love it that you are decorating cookies. Thank you Mrs. J for stepping in - I love the tradition and glad to see that you are incorporating it into other holidays. Easter is the best holiday and it blesses my heart to know you are celebrating in such a fun way. HE IS RISEN....HE IS RISEN IN DEED!!!!
