Happy Birthday Stacy!



Happy Birthday to my friend!

We have a tradition of going to lunch on our birthdays... sadly, we don't have lunch many more times than that, but on these two special days, we carve time out for each other and just soak it up for a few hours.

It's really the rest of the stuff that counts.... the calls, the rescues, the kid trades, the doing "life" together that makes the lunch so special. The in-between things that seem little, but wouldn't be the same if they were with anyone else. She's my person, and today is her birthday! I love you Stacy and thanks for being so many things in my life, for "getting" me and loving me anyway!

Happy Birthday Stacy - I thank God that my sister has such a great friend. With all the miles between us, it is a blessing to know that she has a wonderful Christian friend that connects with her, loves her, keeps her grounded, points her to our God and is only a phone call away. Eyes watering (not allergies)! It was so nice to sit, visit, and eat uninterrupted. 'Our' time is rarely uninterrupted...so that was a gift! LOVE my awesome, heavy, stainless measuring spoons, french manicure kit, yummy warm apple cider mix, and iPod sleeves! You're so thoughtful and your gifts were representative of how well you know me! Love you!
