Summer is only 2 weeks long (short)!

This is the first day of summer break for my kids. They attend VBS this week and then next week is a free week to do what ever they want (within reason:). Then, they start back to school in the next grade. I'm not sure how crazy I am about this whole track thing - and I can tell you plenty of reasons why I like it, but this my friends, is one thing I don't like - a summer that is only two weeks short.
