Hatching an egg..patiently waiting...a face only a mother could love (Updated 8/20/08 final photo)

So Sis put this egg in water that she bought at the Children's Museum. (of course, it's not real) and then she patiently has been watching it hatch and grow. She lovingly talks to it (you know it that high pitched baby voice thing she does) and encourages it along the journey. It's a fun distraction and it's something else to look forward to on these long summer days! Suggestions for names for her new hairless pet are welcomed.

We will update this post when she can hold her creature and it's finished growing... yuk
