The last entry
really got me thinking. I have a journal of a collection of things that my
kids
have said to me through out the years that I consider keepsakes. I also have quotes
from
Maya A. and
other great quotable people. What are some
profound,
funny, thought
provoking things people have said to you or
you
read that you
would like to
share. It doesn't have to
be
deep (or
it could be) it
doesn't have to be
life changing (or
maybe
it is)...
whatever the case -
just share it with
us.

Ok, I'll play...My favorite quote right now is "the days are long but the years are short". Don't know who said it or where to give the credit but with a 3,5,6,7, and 8 year old it crosses my mind more than daily.

Along the same lines as the previous quote....my BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) leader reminded us often this winter that "Life is so Daily". My take on that is that we can waste our days just doing "stuff" and before we know it, we look back and our life is behind us. We can also use each day for good to further God's Kingdom... even in the little daily tasks - showing love, grace, forgiveness and being Christ-like in our daily walk.
